Tuesday
Worked in the yard on the fruit trees.  Our Mangos, Oranges, Lemons, Papayas, Bananas and Coconuts are all almost ripe.  What a fruit salad that’s going to be.

Wednesday
Went for some World Class Fishing off Boca Grande.  Almost ran into the President.  Seems like he likes fishing almost as much as I do.

Thursday
The gang and I Played 18 holes at Legends  but the best hole was the waterin' hole at 19. We all just love this place.

Friday
Saw a school of Dolphins while walking the beach at sunset.  Found some more treasures along the way.

Saturday
Saw something today you wouldn’t believe. Swamp Buggy Races.  Down in Naples they have this big ’ol mud hole. The buggy’s look like tractors with huge tires and they race in all this mud.  How cool is that!   

Sunday
Went to the beachfront church on Captiva.  Sitting barefoot under the trees and hearing the message and the surf, what a treat.

Monday
Visited Fort Myers Beach to see the National Sand Castle Competition.  They are just incredible.

Tuesday
Seashells, Fish right off the boats, Real Major League Baseball, Weather to die for, fresh lemon cubes in the freezer, mangos on the trees and good friends to share it with…….

God, Life is GOOD in

Tuesday
Found more treasures walkin' the beach today.  Great Star Fish and a spectacular Conch.

Wednesday
Made the trek to Matlacha at 5 am.  Got first choice of the shrimpers' catch from last night.  Boy are they fresh!

Thursday
Gotta hit the gym.  Too many island parties, friends comin' and goin' all the time!

Friday
Went to Naples to see the Ghost Orchid bloom a once in a lifetime chance.

Saturday
The kids drove over from Miami.  Took them all to the Edison and Ford Estates.  They loved  it and what an education for everyone. And that Banyan Tree, Wow!

Sunday
Spent the day at the Daytona Speedway for the 500 and the noise of those engines was just deafening, what an experience.  

Monday
 Need to start getting ready for Mango Mania on Pine Island.  It’ll be here before I know it.   

Tuesday
Got an invite to go sailing today, the whole gang.  What a blast!  Might just go up the coast and overnight at Cedar Key, maybe Buffet might even be there again.

Wednesday
Everything is starting to bloom, especially the Poincianas.  Means the Dragonflies should be arriving soon.

Thursday
The Red Sox and The Twins are still in town for spring training.  And boy, do I love baseball!

Friday
Splashed the Kayaks in for a little quite time with K.  Ended up doing about 16 miles.  Forget the gym, I got my exercise for this week.

Saturday
Drove out to Labelle for the Swamp Cabbage Festival.  The music, the dancing, the food and the fun were all old Florida at its best. 

 Sunday
Chartered a boat to Cabbage Key to sample those cheese burgers in paradise. Stopped by Cayo Costa on the way back to sample their uninhabited secluded beach.  If you know what I mean.

Monday
Rode our bikes over to B & K’s house for lunch.  What a spread.  More fresh shrimp, lobster, fish and loads of fresh picked fruits.
